In 2023, Clay led HAVEN through a successful acquisition by a venture capital firm. Throughout his career, he has held executive roles including CEO, COO, and CMO, focusing on brand building, operational efficiency, and scalable product development.
HAVEN & Shark Tank
Clay co-founded HAVEN and appeared on Season 10 of ABC’s Shark Tank, contributing to one of the show’s most memorable episodes. Under his leadership, HAVEN achieved over $5 million in revenue and investment while launching innovative security products recognized by Inc., Forbes, Entrepreneur, TechCrunch, ABC, and CBS.
Product Innovation & Patents
Clay has overseen the design and manufacturing of more than 23 hardware and software products across global supply chains. He also holds three utility patents registered in the United States, European Union, South Africa, China, and India.
Mentorship & Startup Development
In 2025, Clay became an Entrepreneur in Residence at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center, where he leads TakeOff, a go-to-market accelerator for early-stage companies. Through the program, he has guided 20 startups from concept to customer by helping them refine messaging, achieve product-market fit, and build scalable business models.

A published author and five-time Ironman athlete—including a World Championship qualifier—Clay brings endurance, discipline, and strategic thinking to both his professional ventures and personal pursuits.

Today, Lyndsay is the founder and CEO of Stafford Solutions, where she leads a team providing coaching, business consulting, marketing, and fractional leadership services to entrepreneurs, executives, and organizations. The team focuses on helping businesses gain clarity, strengthen operations, and build sustainable systems that create lasting momentum.
Marketing & Community Impact
Stafford Solutions also supports businesses with comprehensive print and digital marketing. The company produces two community publications—College Grove Neighbors and Neighbors of Franklin—helping local businesses connect with their communities in a meaningful and personal way.

Lyndsay got engaged to her husband just three weeks after meeting him, and they were married five months later—a reflection of her decisive and passionate approach to life.

Matt is originally from Ft. Smith, Arkansas and enjoys skiing, tennis, furniture making, and tending to his orchard. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Henderson State University, a master’s degree from the University of New Hampshire, and is a graduate of the Economic Development Institute at the University of Oklahoma.
